Happening Now: Free Nigeria Now Protest in London.

Tensions continue to rise as Nigerians in the United Kingdom are currently protesting for a Nigerian referendum.
According to information made available to Crave TV by a source at the protest ground, the protest is happening specifically at number 10 Downing Street, London, the official residence and executive office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The peaceful but loud protest led by frustrated Nigerians with the support of British allies calls for the “freedom” of Nigerians to separate via referendum.
This could be deduced from the protest video making the rounds as there were chants of “Nigeria expired in 2014” implying the country can no longer function as a unit.
The protest is all-encompassing, targeted at the recent killings across the country and also demanding the release of political activists like Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho and Omoyele Sowore.
The ‘FreeNigeriaNow’ protest is the latest in the recent wave of Nigerian protests in London, the last one happened as recently as the first of July.
London-based Nigerians came out in large numbers to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu whose case has just been adjourned once more till the 21st of October.
This latest round of protests has a strategic edge to it, as President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly in London for a meeting with U.K Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
It serves as an opportunity for protesters to get the attention of the Commander-In-Chief and also force some action through international embarrassment.

  1. When Tortoise decided to play craftiness and said he was everybody, he got nobody on his side at the time he needed them the most.
Since Nigeria governments have decided to be obviously bias and dictators in democracy clothings, I hope and pray they won't end up losing Nigeria at a time it's suppose to be known as one of the best country, bubbling with life...
If you ask me, I think they're very close to losing Nigeria. Very close... Few more display of these repeated act of being bias and all and boom, the whole place would raise fire of war.
Let's face this reality and stop thinking things would magically fix themselves. Let's get down to work already. Citizens, government, everyone of us, owe this country our 1 cent of doing the right thing.
