DINO MELAYE CALLS PRESIDENT BUHARI "A SHAME" IN VIDEO RANT

Popular Nigerian politician, Dino Melaye has launched a scathing verbal attack on President Muhammadu Buhari's decision to attend the Global Education Summit in London.

The former Kogi West senator made his displeasure public via a video made available to Crave TV.

Dino Melaye emphasised on the president's weak educational background, referring to the Commander-In-Chief as a "certificateless president".

Dino Melaye has been in open opposition to Muhammadu Buhari's regime for a while now despite initially supporting him before he got elected.

In this latest tirade against Buhari, Melaye claims President Buhari has nothing to offer and called for more capable representation in the form of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The president has also faced criticism for attending the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025 from the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

PDP accused President Buhari of wasting government resources by travelling to London to attend the 'virtual' summit in person.

Which is in line with Dino Melaye's point about the president being out of depth at the Global Education Summit.

However, President Buhari’s spokesperson, Femi Adesina, countered by saying the President will remain in London for two weeks to enable him to undergo his earlier scheduled medical checkup in London.

Dino Melaye on the other hand wasn't having any of that, his strong choice of words in the video is enough evidence of that.

“It is a shame that Nigeria is not represented in this global summit because we have a president who has nothing to offer, who is intellectually stagnant, who has no capacity academically." Melaye emphasized
